California Fostering Connections Updates on AB 12

Amy Lemley, Policy Director of the John Burton Foundation, updates:

Since the Summit, AB 12 passed successfully out of the Assembly Human Services Committee on April 14th. It now moves onto the Assembly Appropriations Committee. Additionally, Professor Mark Courtney released a cost-benefit analysis of the bill and found that for every $1 invested to support foster youth after age 18, there is a $2.41 return on investment.
