LINKAGES II CONFERENCE

LINKAGES II, a conference on coordinating CalWORKs and Child Welfare Services was held in Sacramento, CA on October 28, 2004. LINKAGES II highlighted success stories from 13 California counties on a variety of topics, including how coordinating services between CalWORKs and Child Welfare can:

  • Help counties to "End Poverty and Fight Abuse."
  • Improve AB 636 outcomes.
  • Provide prevention services based on assessments of risk for abuse or economic need.
  • Provide a broad range of services to address clients' needs.
  • Develop coordinated case plans that improve the experiences of both clients and staff.
